WHO IS ETHEL AHURA ?
Ethel Ahura, is a Christian music singer and multi gospel music award winner (3 time award winner,) celebrating 2 years in the Ugandan Gospel music ministry.
Ethel known professionally as Ethel J.N. Ahura is a female Ugandan gospel singer dedicated to serving God through various ministries & platforms. Ethel currently ministers with the Watoto Church choir. She is married to Paul Ahura Kaseregenyi.
Beyond gospel music, Ethel is an enterprenuer, a counselor and a career lady as well.
ETHEL AHURA’S MUSICAL JOURNEY
Ethel set out into the Gospel Music ministry in August 2017 when she released her maiden gospel music video dubbed “Ndikuwaki” in the same month. The song received massive airplay up to date on the Uganda TV stations. This was followed by the release of another music video in February 2018 for a song called “Muguno Omwaka”
Ethel was first nominated as the Rising Female Artist in the VIGA Gospel Awards which award she won in May 2018 on her birthday! In 2019, Ethel received another award as the Gospel Artist of the year in the High Skool Awards that took place in March 2019. Other notable Gospel Artists in her category in these awards were Zabuli, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Levixone and others.
Shortly after, Ethel’s song of “Muguno Omwaka“ earned her another 2019 nomination as the Exceptional Social theme song of the year an award she also won making it a record 3 music awards in 1 year. She recently released another music video titled “Addictive“ a collaboration she made with a renowned music producer and writer – Morgan Isaac and an Audio single dubbed “Nyamba Mukama“.
Ethel is blessed with a wide fan base from her fellow ministers and big congregation of Watoto church, her fans at the Institution she serves in as a Human Resource Practitioner, and her social media fans.
Ethel Ahura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Administration and a Master of Human Resource Management Degree both from Makerere University.
Her music journey is an experience of favor, passion, trusting God and hardwork.
